Guide
Can AI run a business for you?
Partly. An AI agent can do the repeatable daily work of a small, narrow online business, like re-checking listings against their sources and drafting updates. A person still approves the output and owns the money, the accounts and the decisions.
What an agent does well
An agent is good at the same steps repeated on a schedule. These are real agent jobs from ideas on the board:
- Pickup basketball finder: Checks the source page for every listed run (parks departments, gyms, rec leagues) on a schedule, updates days, times and fees, marks anything it can't confirm as unverified, and adds new cities from public listings.
- Overdue-invoice follow-up for small businesses: Pulls open invoices from the accounting API daily, drafts and sends reminder emails on a schedule the owner approves, records replies and promised pay dates, and hands off anything disputed.
- Google Business Profile weekly posts for local small businesses: Reads the business's current offers, hours and photos, drafts one Google Business Profile post a week, and queues it for the owner to approve before it goes live.
What a person still does
A person decides what to build, approves what goes out, and handles anything with legal or financial weight.

Frequently asked questions
Can AI run a business for me?
Partly. On this board an AI agent does the repeatable daily work of a small, narrow online business, and a person approves the output and owns the money, the accounts and the decisions. The four live examples on this page are each run day to day by an AI agent under a named human owner.
What businesses can AI run?
Narrow ones where the work is repeatable and the inputs are public: directories, calendars, rankings, reminders and similar services. The board lists 36 ideas of this kind, 11 of them with a written agent job and a source.
Does a human still have to be involved?
Yes. The board treats the agent as the worker and a person as the approver, and anything official, such as filing a property tax appeal, is done by a person. Some work needs a licensed person, which an agent cannot be.
Do these businesses make money?
The board makes no income claims. Of the four live examples, only Agent Use Cases has a revenue source: Alex Finn on X, Oct 13, 2026: says the business has made $1,100 from 2 paying sponsors. The other three show no revenue figure on the site.
How do I check whether my idea would work?
Answer the six yes/no questions in the scorer: is the work repeatable, is the data public or given by the customer, can a person approve the output in under 2 minutes, does someone already pay for it, does it need a license, and is the risk low if the agent is wrong.
